Based on the conversation with Rox, I decided to go to Rytlock’s office to see if he had any response.

He seems to have a rather… bizarre… concept of Tyrian geography.

That’s the default status for Rytlock once you reach a certain point in the Personal Story. It has nothing to do with the Living World. If you make a new characters and go straight to Rytlock’s office, he will be there. People post this same dialogue every other month but it hasn’t changed since launch (actually, I think the ranger specific dialogue is new).

I’m pretty sure it’s refering to the level 30 Personal Story quest. I don’t think it updates after that.

South… West… you’re so picky.

Maybe that’s why her dialogue hasn’t changed? Rytlock got lost and he’s still looking for Lion’s Arch (despite appearing there at least twice since she said this).

Sooo, where is Rytlock? Any suggestions? :-)

I’d say he’s with Peter the Lost.

He’s off pestering Logan. He’s gone, uh, south.

That’s just her way of saying, “I don’t care, leave me alone.”

He was actually there just last week. I was surprised to see him gone again.

Works out for Rox. She can just say she missed him.

He ran home to save Queen Jennah.

When everyone thought Logan was dead in the last personal story. Rhytlock gets happy and shouts LOGAN with a smile!!! Yeah he’s soft

I think “gone south” is as in the figure of speech, so he’s probably in a bar getting drunk.
