All services of Lion’s Arch are going to be moved to Vigil Keep for the time being.

Rendezvous. But yeah, Vigil Keep seems like it’ll be the default spot, but perhaps the playerbase will migrate elsewhere. Rata Sum and Ebonhawke both have convenient setups for banking/crafting, and Divinity’s Reach is already popular.

For all we know, Vigil Keep will be even more convenient than Ebonhawke.

It would be interesting if the Wizard’s Tower suddenly opened up to take refuges, it might be bigger on the inside than the outside.

I’ve read that portals to the other cities will be available in the Vigil Keep but will we be able to access the Heart of the Mists from the Vigil Keep as we’ve been able to with LA?

I ask because of the Heart of the Mist shortcut to LA, of course. I would imagine that the Heart of the Mists will be accessibly via a gate in the Vigil Keep just like there will be WvW gates. Plus I would imagine ArenaNet would know there would be backlash if this convenient travel route was suddenly taken away.

There should be a portal leaving from the Heart of the Mists to somewhere in Tyria, like in the Vigil Keep.

So characters who chose the vigil get extra bonus if they played their personal story far enough, as they can use the portal to Fort Trinity.

We could Escape to New York, Snake says its all good over there.

You can use the portal in any of the groups, really. I was Order of Whispers and the Vigil won’t stop me from walking straight on through to emoland.
