Even though i first logged in the game on July 2013, i would like to know if it’s going to be like in the Lost Shores event where there was a high chance of getting precursors with the Ancient Karka Box.

Nothing points towards it being a one-time event with a way too good chest at the end.
And one would assume that they would have told us by now if it would be one.

knowing that the ‘in house economist’ is there to protect the interests of all those poor flippers, I don’t have my hope up. The way the game economy is seeing the real and skilled players as the ‘working force’ and is protecting the power traders means no chance!
