Will the Spinal Blades recipe deactivate?

So I managed to craft my way to the exotic version of the spinal blades, but need to take it that one step further to get the Tempered ones.
I have all of the event items I need, but I’m very low on gold and need to save up hundreds before I can get my crafting to 500 and afford the expensive non-event items needed.
Do I need to race to somehow find the gold within the next few weeks?
Or will the recipe work forever?

I don’t think they’ve ever deactivated a MF or crafting event recipe, only taken away methods to acquire event materials. So if you’ve got the blade shards and recipe pieces, you should be golden.

I hope not as well but do recall some Halloween recipes in the MF being deactivated than permanently changed when they were reintroduced.

^ Yeah that’s what I was thinking of (and worrying about!).

Yes but Halloween is a recurring seasonal event. I don’t think the LS will be having reruns.
That aside what changed for the Halloween items was the recipe sheet recipe not the item recipe.

Don’t forget that you’ll also need 500 dragonite ore, 500 empyreal fragments, and 500 bloodstone dust. These are ascended materials and are account bound. Therefore, you need to earn them, not buy them from the TP.

Those shouldn’t be a big problem assuming you do at least one evacuation per day since that gives some dragonite each day and there are a few champs(for the bloodstone dust) that always spawns at around the 40~45 minute mark and the alliance bags can drop empyreal fragments.

I’ve actually got all the dragonite, empyreal and bloodstone from champs and dungeon runs.
It’s really just a case of having the gold to get crafting from 0-500 and then buying/making the ascended mats like the 15 Bolts of Damask etc.
I suspect it’ll be something like 300 gold – which will take a while!

If you’re going from 0-500 you’re better off doing leatherworking. It’s much cheaper.

Make sure you have the ingredients that are only offered temporarily, that would be the blue prints, the blades and the gift of blades. Once you have these, you can create the item at your convenience.

Awesome will do.

Yeah I did see that. However my main is a Necro – so I was thinking i’ll get more use out of tailoring being at 500 in future.
It’s so unfair how the armour that your class wears makes hundreds of gold worth of a difference in the mats needed.
