I was just wondering why the Spinal Blades backpiece where designed in such away as if you want to change the color of your backpiece say from red to green you can not.

Help me out here i don’t think i’m the only on thinking this but why is this?
you see I don’t really understand this chose made about the backpieces why where they design in such away that you cant change the color again if you so chose?

Lest say down the line you change your characters color scheme and want to make your spinal backpiece match or you just happen to make an mistake and pick the wrong Assault Knight Power Core to craft your backpack and end up with a color you did not want. what do you do then suck it up and make another one at 100g really?

All i ask is that you let us put the backpiece back into the mystic forge once it been change to red, blue or green with the same recipe you use now to change its to a different color.

E.g
4 Elonian Wine
+ 10 Pile of Crystalline Dust
+ 10 “insert correct Assault Knight Power Core here”
+ ever your static, Synergetic or Dynamic Tempered Spinal Blades

Putting those 4 items into the Mystic Forge to change it color again. is that really to much to ask?

Heck i would have been more happy if they more then just 3 colors. Say using a specific dye x10 would make it that color in place of the Wine. But then i figure that would be alot of programing to get all thoughs colors in there

Im happy with my Blue (more close to Teal) Spinal back piece.

Aura Slicer X Thief. Pvp svr 007 Oh wait! i’m not suppose to tell you that!

Imagine your backpiece being infused… :O
I don’t think anyone would be carefree enough to change its color ever again after doing so if that means losing any infusion applied to it, just for changing the color, as the MF always gives you a new and clean item, without any infusion applied to it.

And then… If you chose the right profession (leatherworks that is…) you can easily make a few of these if you have some vision cristals left. You can even make them a little later too, you get enough blade shards and stuff to save.

I wouldn’t try on another one, even if I like the uncolored version or red too, but being a 500 Tailor… well,.. no thanks… x_X
Got my green one and I’m happy with it _
