and Tailors definitely get discriminated against.. along with armorsmith too. these backpiece recipes need to be changed imo.. all of them- grenth, dwayna, and the new blade one.

price for leatherworker – 58g if bought on tp
price for tailor- 213g…

if you don’t think this is discriminating, your wrong.

They don’t balance materials based on our value of those materials.

its not our value when theres a massive percentage change between the amount of certain material drops in the game. that’s just Balance.

Then cry about the lack of that item dropping, and not how much it cost in gold. It would be stupid to make the recipes different based on the gold value of the items instead of material quantity.

Its not only the value and drop rate, but also the ammount of it needed (you know, the 3 scraps = 1 bolt while 2 ores = 1 ingot thing, et cetera).
It really sucks.

So complain about that part, because the gold cost doesn’t matter. We determine the gold value, which is why recipes aren’t made that way.

I would say these recipes are a step in the right direction, actually. The reason damask is dramatically more expensive isn’t just that it takes more of a harder to get resource to make, but because recipes demand so much more of it. It takes more bolts of damask than deldrimor steel to make heavy armor. Those first Dwayna/Grenth themed ascended backpieces both required a ton of damask.

It’s unfortunate that the one recipe asks so much more of the player, but having versions that actually use the other materials will help toward equalizing the prices.
