You want to do this if you are farming karma. If you want gold, shelt/pen is still the place to go.

i’ve done the camps for 3 months. but my way im getting 30 gold a day. in 7 days i got
100 skil points
275gold
400k karma
alot of t6 mats that i havent sold yet
and almost all of SoS on my freinds list telling me how much better it is

I been running these with pupgo for a bit over a week. In that time I was able to get my own commander tag and lead people in the same path. I have made more cash from these runs than I ever did with the camps.

I especially love rakkan, (fish guts/carry stinkies) as there are SO many mobs in which to loot.

Just need to up my MF a little more and I feel I will do better. Thats next after I upgrade bags to carry more stuffs.

What server do you guys farm on and do you do it at a specific time? I’d love to join and try it with you guys.

My guild plans on trying this tonight during our nightly achievement raid. However, I do have a question: if an event in the given path is not active (and have no way to manually activate it. eg. Scholar Zepa’s corpse is not found) , do you wait for it to be active, or skip and go on to the next event in the chain?

if the event isn’t up , skip it and go to the next one.
also keep an eye on the temples. at the end of plinx is a good time to hop to dwayna/ mel,lyssa or arah, when done with a temple plinx is just about ready to respawn

grenth is a waste of time and money with the new update, and balth is always gliched

ps for the new people. if a temple is not contested do not defend it. no chest…

few other events always good to hit up . but glich alot.

How long does it take to run this event chain. Im very interested in it and tried to find it going on my server but didnt have any luck.

This chain usually takes us roughly 45 minutes to make a complete loop, which is about the plinx respawn timer.

ALSO: as Pup stated, we hit the Shark/Pirate/Meg to the far south and get the chest where Rotbeard is at. Also make quick trip to get the chest west of R&D near the statue. There are also 2 chests you can grab east of the Champ Abomination.

EDIT: And if you are joining us, if you dont see Pup running the circuit, I usually will be running it too.

1. I know PupGo makes more than me, but I typically run about 4 hours a night, sometimes an additional 4 hours in the after noon. So basically as little as 4 hours to as many as 12 hours a day I will run this circuit. Sometimes, I will start after dinner and run until about 12 or 1am server time. Just depends on my day and mood.

2. Sure. If you’re not on SoS, come guest with us. Just look for our commander icons in CS, if we are running, they will be up. Same for you Neodome. Come guest with us. Afternoon runs are hit or miss, but evenings it pretty much goes down. As for mornings, I spend that time alting =D

Oh, and lets not forget that we hit up the temples in Malchors sometimes (Lyssa and Dwayna). Dont ask about Grenth – we are boycotting it =p

Great group of guys and server. Joined them last night for a bit and was very coordinated and fun. Makes me want to perma transfer servers haha :p

I like the way you have depicted the event chain.

now that sos has 50+ zergs most of the time. loot is hard to farm. yev and i have been trying to split up the zerg. south of cursed shore is a nice loot chain that also works well with plinx’s time
so if 2 commanders split up at the end of plinx and take half the zerg , you will make more.

also the risen king is good for loot. but never resets.

Thanks for the update Pupgo. I still cant get my server to run events for the life of me very disappointing but also noticed that Sea of Sorrows events are now VERY heavy in terms of people. So getting items is almost impossible with alot of Elementalist doing AOE lol~ Hopefully this will help regardless very impressed

Do you take some narcotics to not die from boredom and monotony? also, why? why would you do this in the first place?

Its actually not very monotonous at all as the event chain comprises of 2 main paths as well as various optional ones you can do in order to change things up. I put together a guide for these event circuits. Either check out my facebook page in my signature or check out the youtube below

Has the new changes to Orr(for instance, adding champs to some events) produced any negative impact on the farming route you have described? just want to ask your professional opinion

no there has been no changes.

how much karma a hour is this farming method?

running either the north circuit or the south circuit, you are looking at about 3-4000 karma per hour without any type of karma buff. Check out the youtube video above for more details

the event chains are fine with the new update. only thing that sucks is temples/dragons.
for the most part i would do the chain and at the end bring 30+ people to a dragon or temple. not no more …

you get one chance for these temples miss it and catch the karma train the next day

When exactly are your “evenings”? I checked SoS periodically last night between 4-9pm. The only commander tags I saw were people hanging out at Anchorage Waypoint who never moved except to do the Arah event. I wandered around a little bit, but I never saw any coordinated group making the rounds.

I saw pupgo ran the rounds between 7-8 pm(gtm+8) yesterday.

best time to catch us on sos. is right after daily reset we try to get everything done in a few hours.

btw i got the colossus from a ooze while doing plinx

Yeah, Pupgo is extremely lucky at drops. I honestly think he knows someone at Anet =P

best time to catch me is when my health allows lol – sometimes I just dont have it in me to run the events.

Any known EU server where this chain’s being farmed?

@pupgo – Do you run MF gear? Curious to hear the position of a hardcore farmer on this.

i run 127 mf on my ranger unbuffed. only time i change armor is for dungens
