I know where to buy them, I’m just not sure how to go about actually getting them. Every single time I’m logged in, balthazar is contested, sometimes I go there and try to rally a group to take it, but it never works out because the group gets bored, or it bugs out. I read that a dev said you just need to pull a mob to them when the escorts group up, but thats not true, on several occasions they bunch up and even pulling mobs to them, they do not reset.

So, I’m not really willing to transfer servers just to get one silly item, is there any tips on how to get people to take it? Or perhaps a time of day when it’s usually not contested?

Theres currently 2 ways of obtaining Obsidian Shards. First way is to farm karma(2100 per shard) and wait/join the event to liberate the temple. Second way is with fractal tokens (15 tokens per). The vendor for that is inside the dungeon.

Pray to your deity of choice Balth isn’t bugged, get enough people to run the 3 metas and pray to your deity of choice you got enough DPS to burn the priest down.
