Q:

Can anyone (hopefully a dev) provide some empirical proof that this is true? My farming style of just running around tagging stuff people are fighting as yielded me the same rewards as staying and fighting I’ve noticed. I’ve only tested on about 40-50 mobs though so I’d like to know. Here is a better description:

Why would staying and fighting the same mob yield higher rewards? that would make plinx (before his nerf r.i.p.) useless lol

A bad system. Mesmer, Necro, and other classes with low damage output will get less loot.

Try party with other people who deliver lots of DPS.Damage threshold are shared between party.You will need less damge needed to get the drops.
