Guild Wars 2

So right now Dynamic Events in lvl 80 zone is competing against bots and farmers who spam high dps aoe damage in order to tag mobs to get loots. Does anyone have any suggestion which class would be the best for doing that? I heard people say Ele class would be the best for it because of all the AoE skill they have but some say cast time makes it hard. Other people say Engineer since grenade are instant cast and does insane damage. Any ideas?

Guardian with a staff, just spam 1 as its a cone AoE with decent range.

warrior with Greatsword + double axe, so much good aoe.

Also the real trick is to make a group of all the non botters you can find.

Necromancer. I use my wells and marks from the staff and you tag everything.

Any kind of AoE should be fine so long as you deal sufficient damage. You probably wanna stack power/crit.

It’s horrible right now on my server.

The ZERG is so bad in Cursed Shore they cause the invisible bug so mobs never show or only one does or a few.

People just stand or AOE where they spawn.

Really disappointed with how this is going and the fact having one level 80 zone is not working. It’s way over crowded.

i camp at an outpost, and draw mobs to the outpost npcs. i may not get stuff every time for kills, but it beats dying and spending silver to res IF i go down in the middle of the sea of Red.

ranger – traps placed on spawns insta pop on spawn

Necromancer is king of tags, imo.

Ranger with traps, axe/axe and long bow. Throw traps right at the spawn point/invuln point. And spam piercing arrows till they are in range of axe. Then tab, axe1. Tab, axe1. Tab, axe1 like a pro.

My thoughts exactly.. And you really can’t blame the players for this, it’s either do this or get completely shafted.

I made to make a guardian to keep up with other people farming for a legendary… sadface.

Thief Clusterbomb is also pretty effective if there aren’t too many people around as the bomb needs about a second to explode.

But as you can see, almost every class has a tool to compete in these events. The fact that it’s a competition is the big issue here.
