Champion Abominations resets too easily.
This happens with all creatures with a long range charge. Abominations and drakes in particular, but I’ve known rolling karka to do it at times.
The leashing in this game really needs looking at.
I think if you can keep conditions on the Abomination, this reduces the chance of it resetting when it runs far out. Still, the leashing is annoying regardless.

Unfortunately not so much. When it comes to going too far from their starting point (if they path around normally, this seems to be where they entered combat) they leash anyway, and start healing up. If your conditions last long enough, they return to that location, realize ’I’ve been attacked!’ (maybe the bleeding and poison gave it away?!) and run back with full or near-full health.
If you actually want to keep fighting them after that, then poison can kinda help, because it slows down their health regen after they leash. It’s still significantly annoying though and I usually decide to stop wasting my time there.
