Anyone else think that the champion karka that is defending the rich orichulm(how ever you spell that word) ore should be an dynamic event boss?

He’s quite fun to fight against.

I agree he should be a Dynamic Event. Most people I know just evade him or get another person to distract him. I don’t know if ANET intended that or for players to actually kill it.

What exactly did they intend?

wouldn’t be a bad idea for alot of rich nodes, having dynamic events as trigger and rewarding players with a node spawning or a passage opening with said node inside. although that would mean those nodes were in static locations but meh. i jus hate the karka tho, they can remove em all for all i care starting with that champion.

Don’t forget that Southsun Cove is not finished. Arena stated it some time ago.

They intended for us to have a harder time getting the rich oric node, which only succeeds 1% of the time (on me at least) and that’s when I get an unlucky karka pounce. As for another person to distract it, that’s what my ranger’s pet is for. Go devourer, go!

I killed him once (with a group) and guess what?

By the time we’d all mined the Ore it had already respawned.

I kid you not, it took about 50 Seconds to respawn…

Go buy a few Ash Legion stealth kits and rush the Rich node and use one kit and pick away, use a new one as the first goes out and you get that without fight or aggro from the Karka Champ..
