Champion Risen Lich Reset
I have never seen anyone win that battle.
He sucks way more damage than he takes, and the skill doesn’t seem to be capped at 5 enemies, so it can’t be fought with numbers.
The more people there’s around, the more Defiant his Unshakable increases, and just one guy spamming CCs at the wrog time, and it can’t be interrupted. And you can’t control what everyone else does.
So interruptions are not a good tactic.
So he always has a lot of time to recover all of its health before being interrupted, as he sucks the entire health of a warrior with Shaman or Sentinel gear in about 10 seconds.
Getting away doesn’t work either, because he just retreats back to the tower and recovers full health in no time.
Like all ranged champions, it does way too much damage than it should, while melee champions can be soloed.
Just look at Robbari and the Demagogue. I’ve seen Robbari one-hit kill a guy at full health with a single pellet of his multi-hit attack. While I’ve seen people solo the Demagogue in about 2 minutes without getting their health under 50% even when they are hit multiple times.
Whoever decided to give ranged creatures massive damage (specially the ones with fast projectiles and those that attack directly in range like Horace) and melee ones negligible damage, must come from some alternate universe in which people wear hats as shoes, eats soup with forks and grows up like Benjamin Button, if they are so bent on making things the opposite of how should they be.
Honestly, the new mechanic where the Champion Wraith/Lich loses Defiant each tick of life drain makes Defiant not the issue. Also, the life leech damage was down about 10-15% from the last time I tried this. Our issues were: only two interrupts, both on longish CD — and the leash mechanism that twice invalidated our efforts in a timed event. If the leash wasn’t less than the life drain’s range the three of us could have completed this event.
Now that’s weird. In our case he didn’t lose defiant at all.
He just kept sucking up health.
We made some changes in the build today, though it looks like we may have missed release notes for the wraiths. The champion wraiths should now lose 2 stacks of defiance each tick of their life drain, and they won’t channel it as long. The Lyssa event was also scaling the veterans and champions more than intended, which should be resolved now (this was in the release notes). The creatures in that event were getting scaled up by both the old and new event scaling methods, so they were doing significantly more damage, and took far longer to kill than intended.

Faithfully following Murphy’s law, if anything can be bugged and is bugged in any other server, it will be bugged in Baruch too.
We are sympathetic like that. Heh.
