Alright, so I’ve tried to find an answer to this question, but I simply can’t find one.

In short: What decides whether or not you’ll get a reward chest after participating in a boss event?

I’ve joined in the middle of an event and gotten a chest and I’ve been in from the start and gotten nothing. Is it random? Is it a set amount of chests per day? Does it depend on whether or not I participated in the meta events?

Thank you for your time. I’d love to just get a straight answer.

What kind of chest are you talking about?

The daily chest or the physical big chest that appears on the ground?

The daily chest is limited to 1 per day per account per boss

The physical chest is limited to 1 per day per character per boss

That pretty much answered my question. Thank you!

It sometimes still fails though. I didn’t get the Claw of Jormag chest (either of them) on a character tonight, even though I hadn’t completed that event since last night (well before the daily changeover), and had completed the even every previous night on the same character, and had been a part of the event since halfway through the wall breaking phase.

That’s weird, I got to Jormag when he had like 1/8th of a health bar last night…helped take out a couple ice pillars and champ’s, hit him like 3 times after the golem bombs, got a bronze and both chests.

Yeah, that happens too, but it’s sometimes inconsistent.
