Daily Server Resets until more/most DE's don't glitch
I would like it as well. The longer resets, the more events are bugged. Trying to finish zone I was doing yesterday, all stuck events were still there, but at least 2 new DE I managed to make previously were bugged.
And it’s not ‘lol, one or two events out of tens, go do others’. Huge amount of them are linked to each other or exclusive, so for each one stuck event, three are being on hold. This really kill the flow of zones and makes them feel boring in addition to broken.
Sadly I have to agree with you. It seems so many DE bug and don’t reset that it affects game play. It also became the most prominent topic in /map in my experience. In my opinion this is not what social interaction should be about.
Was leveling my Mesmer in Brisban Wildlands on Piken Square (EU) yesterday and of the 10 events I encountered, 8 were bugged out. I reported all, but this took quite some of my game time. Moreover, it affected game play as I had to move to another zone and craft to get sufficient XP.
Got my main parked in Cursed Shore, but there also the main event line is bugged. As a result, we haven’t been able to enter Arah for the last 2 days at least.
I think ANet really needs to step up here; it’s bad publicity and affects game play across the board. Server restarts aren’t ideal, but it is a quick solution at least. Adding reset condition to events would be better, i.e., let an event reset if after X minutes the NPC has not reached it’s destination. It seems that NPCs getting stuck on terrain is the most common cause for events to get stuck.
YES and totally agreed… I got denied/delayed of my Legendary due to Bugged event @ Temple of Balthazar in Strait of Devastation… Got all my remaining other mats all ready but just obsidian shards… gg

More than 24 hours later…. Skill challenge I am waiting on is still glitched and has been now for at least 3 days.
At least reset the servers! Come on!
When I was last through Gendarran Fields on my way to Lion’s Arch this morning, the bugged skill challenges and DE’s in that area pretty much dominated /map conversation. I imagine it’s the same way in any other area that has several bugs blocking people from completing the map. Harathi Hinterlands and Lornar’s Pass are still working OK, but I don’t know how much longer that will hold up if the servers aren’t rebooted soon.
