Dragons: damage number locations
It’s a bug, since it’s happening to most world bosses as well.
It doesn’t look like a bug, it looks like an intentional change. The damage of multi hit attacks is summed now, rather than showing separate numbers for the hands and head.
For example, on the claw of jormag, using a fiery great sword, I used to see it doing ~6k damage per attack on both claws and the head. Now it does ~20k damage per attack in the middle.
On the second stage though, it is bugged, since I see nothing.
I’ve noticed this as well and it’s rather frustrating actually. Especially with the wonky hitboxes of some mobs when you’re a melee class. Tequatl for example now has the damage numbers show off to the rear left of him, in the water it seems, where a claw is. I thought the pre-patch way damage was displayed was much more convenient and less irritating when melee.
I don’t think the hidden damage numbers on the last phase of Claw of Jormag is intentional.
