Although it be a small to large overhaul of the game It would been a interesting idea, to have the npc’s seem to actually do more then just hang around basically make them have a life of there own kinda thing. that happens if even no one is there to witness it. Kinda Like the SIM’s of npc’s for Guild Wars 2. for at least the random npc’s you don’t have to talk to or merchant that is re leaved by another merchant or guard being replaced by another for night or duty has to go home Night/Day Sleep cycles ect so forth, for as much realism and effort put into the game with dynamic events, to still see NPC’s just waiting for a players input or background scenery or filler. Even if this might or might not be a valid idea can start to implement it in small steps on certain maps ect future release idea or enhances dynamic events with even more things that happen, as dynamic events can be updated or changed to surprise or such players that been on enough to gotten use to how a dynamic event usually would run it’s chain of events I.E. if fort A is lost retaliation to retake it starts at point b, if fort is captured, hold for x minutes. Even the monsters to some extend just stay in the spot they spawned they need a wider wonder path. They usually just stay in one spot were they spawned until have something to chase or kill and run right back to were they spawned like a rubber band. Having monsters placed strategically on a map does not look that natural. but most of that I would assume is just a character scripting issue.
