Guild Wars 2

Currently playing Asura thief: Last several major battles I have gone through got me nothing that I could use with my Asura Thief. While it is true I got some materials from the salvage or sold the item(s) at a semi handsome price(s), I would much rather have something I could use. And would like for it to be something worthy of any given boss that took me quite awhile to kill. Oh and what really steamed my veggies, I got CAKE last night….there were three choices of CAKE…I am a chef, I can make cake (flour, sugar, eggs, etc)…and I don’t have to sweat, cuss and repair my armor in order to do so. =)

It took me 4 tries to kill a boss in the story, it’s the Dredge one where you get the sanguine, (not sure of that spelling), blade. That Director Dredge was a booger for me but a choice of CAKE really upset me. Though maybe I don’t remember correctly, but during one of those battles I went through June 12th about 9pm’ish (CST USA) i saw 3 cake images to choose from. Major letdown.

During GW1 my luck was horrid and I never really got any decent drops…it took 3 years of playing just to get 1 black dye drop. happiest day of my gw playing career.

It sounds like you are talking about personal story rewards, not DEs. Those aren’t randomized, most of the gear is junk, and everyone gets cake at that point in the story. This is the wrong forum btw.

You should buy your equipment from the Trading Post. Much more convenient, and perhaps most importantly, really cheap up until 80 (lol, even rares/exos are pretty cheap at 80).
