Event rewards bugging out ?
I have had several problems within the game also. I am level 80 and participating in events farming for mats and gold at Penitent camp in Orr. Its so gutting and frustrating to have joined an event and have a reward as low as 9 copper, regardless of getting a gold award. Also, I’ve noticed other problems too, there also seems to be a drop in the damage I am doing, sometimes dropping from around 3k down to around 500.. then, the loot.. Almost everything is grey and on a good run I may see 1 blue piece of vendor junk… but I do however have 19 grey porous bones.. useful huh? I have to be doing something to be able to loot, but.. everything is so worthless. It makes it totally pointless. Very little reward if any, XP I don’t really need, dropped karma points.. and pence in my hand.. Doesn’t go far when you are struggling to farm for better gear.
On another note. I have an alt, on another account.. I thought I was being smart by playing on another account and would bypass this loot, event problem.. She however had all the above problems, as well as.. When using an Oriculum mining pick on a mithril ore.. she looted ruined ore.. and a message telling me that I should use a higher level pick. Then after looking in my inventory I noticed I had other tools and ran my cursor over them to see them all red and get a message saying. I am too low to use that item. It was an iron mining pick.. LOL
I have tried rebooting my pc, which I did think helped on one occasion, but within a very short time the problem returns. Last night I went offline around midnight, maybe 1am as the looting event had started to reduce and logged on the game today around 11am to find the event just starting. I joined the event, got gold award… looted nothing but 3 skulls and 1 blue piece of junk.. gained around 800xp, 343 karma (approx) and a whopping 9 copper..
What is the point in flippen playing.. It’s frustrating, pointless.. and very disappointing. I feel I have worked hard getting my characters to 80. We have very poor area choice to farm with regards to high end game. You do events with sometimes up to 20 other players, all desperate to gain loot and then walk away with nothing.. time and time again. It has put me off playing and after logging on today and doing only 1 event to find nothing but the same….****…. I logged off again. It’s totally pointless..
Something needs to be sorted out here, before others start to feel as I do. How long will someone put up with a game this way before going back to another, or finding an alternative?
What you should also mention my sweet, is that you sent support an in game message on Sunday morning and you have not yet had a reply. This is simply poor when there is nothing you can do but accept the lower rewards.
I have done a few events no drops and i was there from beginning to end. LOL even my 80 had the same problem. I dunno glad i dont spend much time playing this anymore. Its not good not getting drops. and i predict if it keeps up the gold farmers are going to do a bumper biz with people buying coins to get gear..
I have two characters around level 50, that has the same bug. 1 in about 4 events give about 100 exp vs the normal 3000 exp. So far it occurs at random – Im unable to determine the cause. But it sure is anoying. I thing many have the same problem but just dont notice the “GOLD” reward has so tiny exp numbers.
