When I first started playing, I would jump into a event, help out, and other people would join in. When someone else completed a specific parameter of the event, everyone’s completion rate would increase. This meant that multiple people helped the event along, making it fun if more people were there.

Now, suddenly, and recently, it seems that each person has to finish the event on their own (only way its shared is that if 2 people, for example, help kill the same monster, it would add to both’s completion.) This is a lot lamer, especially when playing with friends.

Is this a change that was done? And any specific reason why? Can’t really find info on it. =/

Could you explain it a bit more? What event does this? Or are you talking about heart quests?

I can’t say I’ve experienced this. It almost sounds like you’re talking about Renown Hearts, which are not a part of the Dynamic Event system. Renown hearts have a progress bar that is completed by your own efforts, where Dynamic Events are completed by anyone participating in the event, and the reward is shared amongst all who participate. If the event progresses because a player triggered something, everyone will progress along with it.

Ohhhh, okay, let me clarify and reply. Yes, I was actually referring to the ‘Renown Heart’ quests, sorry about that didn’t know they had a different name. I might be wrong (really possible), but I could’ve sworn the renown heart quests was also shared among players that walked into the event. But, if you say it wasn’t, maybe I am confusing the events with the Renown quests.

In that case, thanks for clarifying this for me.
