Since a few weeks, mentality on my server is becoming really bad, with people insulting each other, etc.
Now, since a few days, it is not even possible to do some events. I’ll let you watch this small video I just made : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECrsSnkj404

Do these people know their gameplay is equal to zero ?
Do these people understand that the way they play, they just loot half of the possible loots ? (there’s 2 waves, joining at the village doors, so you just have to wait to tag a maximum mobs)
Do these people understand that they can not tag a mob if it is not on the map yet ?
And on top of that :
Do these people understand they are ruining the event and the fun for everyone else ?
I know I could win the event even without killing a mob, or I could even do the same and spam traps/LB*5, but how is it meant to be fun to play like that ?

When I tried to explain that to them, they just said : “I’m taking some loots so where’s the matter ?” I just didn’t find anything to answer to that, except quit the zone.

So here are the questions :
Do you have the same type of people on your server ? I’m on a french one, and I know it could make a difference. French people (I’m one of them) seem to disrespect everyone else. But maybe it is a common problem.
Isn’t there a kind of event abuse report system ? Is it normal I couldn’t play some events and have some fun, just because some people decided to ruin it ?

Happens in Cursed Shore all the time. I’ve even done it to max out on getting rare drops for ectos/gold. If there are loads doing it then your only choice is to do the same or get no loot :/

That was one of the reasons I refused to play on a region specific (let’s say) server. I had really bad experiences before. The most culturally diverse the server is, the better, IMHO.

Where they instantly vaporize under a swarm of meteors and axes. That’s how it is at Camp Penitent, they are invulnerable until they get right near the door, and unless you are in the group with the warriors, you still don’t get anything. My drops were not good at all when I was trying to use axe/mace and a longbow, but when I put an axe in my offhand, my drops went up dramatically.

Yes obviously they get obliterated as soon as they are able to be. At least they are actually getting to the event though.
