Guild Wars 2

Everytime I move to a new area I spend some time checking out the events, which I love, so much so I tend to replay some of them over and over. Not for the reward, but simply because the event is so good.

Examples include the Assault on the Centaur base, the whole charge and counter charge, taking camps, holding camps, charging the main base, defending the counter assault.
Or the Pirate one, knocking out the towers, neutralising the cannons, getting support from the Galleon, fighting the Pirates through to the Chief, taking the island, only later for it to be invaded by Risen.

Its these moments that make the game for me. Am I alone here or are there other players who love to replay the same event just because its real cool?

I have a tendency to replay some of the Orrian events that involve taking back the various temples. I actually find those kind of engaging and moderately challenging depending on the number of people participating. If a temple is contested, I’ll go out of my way to uncontest them. I’d like to say that I have do each of the temple chains at least five times ( except Balthazar since that one is pretty buggy at the moment).

I tend to replay the once that make sense and are fun. those are mostly the defend location from the assault. I will however help take down boss mobs since some of them, like the Megaladon are just hard to take.

Pretty much the same as Nepocrates above, if an event was fun or it makes sense to repeat I will repeat it, however, if it was tedious or slow I will more often than not pass.

I won’t ever go looking to repeat events though, if I am in the area otherwise then the above applies.

Well now I just do an event and move on due to the diminishing returns ruining any sort of reason to want to stay in an event more than once.
