I’m currently trying to buy the karma armor from the merchant usually found at the gates of arah. There’s one big problem though. Every server I’ve asked so far has the gate opened but no vendor and the event for arah is stuck somewhere.

Is everyone’s arah gate event broken? Does anyone have the karma vendor present? I already tried asking the event board yesterday, but for the most part people go there to ask, not answer.

This vendor is gone on Borlis Pass as well. I’ve found a lot of people asking about this but no answers.

No one knows how to open the vendors at Gates of Arah because players disregarded the downed troops next to Meddler’s Summit, suspending the Gates of Arah meta event chain and not restarting it.

Tarnished Coast cleared this awhile ago so its not bugged for them.

The Gates to Arah meta-event isn’t broken. It’s just that the pre-event required to start the chain is hard for most players to do, so most players don’t bother with it. It’s why you’ll most likely see the Anchorage wp always being contested, because just about everyone fails the event to open it.

The pre-event I’m talking about required to open the Gates to Arah is called “Get Warmaster Chan to Shank Anchorage before the troops’ morale breaks.” Most people fail this event because the Risen nobles that spawn always do major damage to npc’s,, causing the morale to go to 0, which in turn, fails the event.

Though this event might seem impossible to do, I’ve been able to successfully succeed at this event multiple times these past couple days with my Guardian after tons of trial and error. The key to succeeding at this event is simply focus on killing the Risen Nobles as fast as possible, before they get to strike the npc’s. The best way to do this is with like a small group of 1-4 people, since any more than that, you’ll risk the event scale too high, in which too many Risen nobles spawn. I highly recommend turning on the “see all enemy names” option in the menu before doing this event, as it greatly helps in detecting the Risen Nobles. If you fail the event, you can always try again, as the event always starts up again 10 minutes after failure.

On Borlis Pass this event seems to be bugged. The part of the event where you must escort the 7 crash survivors just doesn’t work. Pilot Ripsky moves right outside the starting area (Meddler’s waypoint) and goes about 50 yards towards the Anchorage waypoint. The event has been stuck here for weeks now. They’ve completed it on Tarnished Coast (because I guested there to get my armor set from the karma vendor at Arah) but apparently almost every other server has it bugged.
