Loving the Dynamic event system…
Before I say anything I believe Dynamic Events are the best thing about GW2. It is completely gamechanging, and I can’t make myself play any more static classic quests in other mmos. However…

…but, hating the rewards…
I think most of us would agree that non-world-boss-chest Dynamic Events are seriously unrewarding. Doing an event that takes you 15 minutes to complete just to get 1 silver is not good enough.
Yes, you get some karma but karma you get is just as worthless as that 1 silver. You can make 150 000 karma by doing 500 events and convert them to 2-3 gold if you buy karma armor and throw it into the mystic forge, not much else to do with it.

…which results in low populated zones.
Under-rewarding system of DEs is the main reason why most of maps are low populated, even if you see someone here and there they would probably just ignore the event and go do whatever that person was going to do, because that person know there’s not much to gain doing that event (except leveling).

“The whole game is end-game”
That’s what we used to say before game released. But why would any lv 80 character go to any lower level area if he must spend 3 hours on events, just to make as much profit as 10 minutes of CoF.

“Gold might be against the profit”…
I know that people making ingame money would hurt Arenanet/NCSofts profits (less buying gems with real money), but in the long run non-rewarding PvE system is hurting the game more.

but people like loots…
People want interesting loots. They want to kill that hard boss, do the event chain, just to see what is waiting them in the end – what will they get. At the very least, they just love the sound of full pockets with gold.

…so let’s make it rewarding…
Arenanet should revamp the reward system by replacing the general reward for event/player level (all lv 80 events give you ~1.5 silver, ~350 karma atm) with scaling rewards:
- the more difficult event more silver to win
- the more time it takes to complete (timed events, the amount of mob waves, killing champion…) more silver to win
- increase the minimum amount of silver to win
- maybe add a chance to get some item with gold contribution to event (that will make sure people stay until the end of the event, not just tag it and move on)
- to make sure people wouldn’t farm the same event chains all the time, once you do same event that day – reward it just like you reward it now: miserably.
- people will come out with some nice ideas for better rewarding system, listen to them

…and bring joy to players!
