Just recieved a Karka chest after not being ale to make it to the event due to living in New Zealand.

I appreciate that you guys listened and have responded to help make it a fairer playign ground. This defintely reassures me you’re not going to ride rough shod over your player base.

I did participate in the karka event. I did open the chest and receive my loot. I did not receive additional loot in the mail.

My friend did participate in the karka event. He disconnected and was unable to open his chest. He did receive his loot in the mail.

I want to say thank you for not saturating the entire player-base with swag and taking the time to come to a thoughtful conclusion. Players have been whining about the way you handled it already — frankly I don’t see the point. It is not as though you promised anything, or as though the event story wasn’t fun or engaging.

I too live in New Zealand and received a chest, without attempting any part of the final event. Anet must be huge Tolkein fans and thought rewarding us awesome peoples would entice us to allow the rest of the hobbit films be made here. No other explanation I can think of.
