Yesterday i participated in this event 2 times and there were so many others players in but only 3 centaur were approching the bridge almost %80 duration of the event and people were camping the spawn locations and could hardly find a chance to hit the mob.I think there may be problem / bug in dynamic scaling.

I’ll second this one. It’s not that there are only 3 centaur approaching the bridge, it’s that there are players that are simply AFK and have their characters on auto-attack. Unsure if there’s any botting going on, but (talking to other players) apparently it’s a known hotspot.

I’ve got a nice screenshot here of at least 15 people just set to auto-attack/auto-build rocket turrets, concentrating fire on the entrance to the bridge (where all the centaur just run to). The interesting part is that I also saw centaur’s spawning, and almost instantly dying (from lag or not I can’t tell).

On Jade Quary the location has nothing but botters.

I actually hate this event for this reason. It’s completely broken and I’ve observed botting here… to be specific: bow wielding player that constantly shoots, targets closest enemy and shoots. Even when the event isn’t happening the player is sitting there shooting the ground. This event is primed for this sort of abuse of the system. I once got gold for this event just by being there…. I didn’t even do anything, just stood there. I really hate that.

I think the kessex hills area events need some serious increase in difficulty, every event in that area is impossible for it to fail they always succeed 100% of the time so the same things keep happening over and over, Anet needs to work on kessex hills to make it so that events have a higher chance of failing and increase the enemy intelligence.

I think this event needs some serious re-work in order to spread things out a bit, or at least make it so that it’s not so easy to idle and complete.

Personally i think all those events should scale to a point where they take back more land. I have yet to see that event not pushed all the way on any overflow and my home server.

This event is a prime spot for botters on Eredon Terrace, as well.

yep, there’s an issue with the scaling of this event, but unfortunately it’s not the only one. last night i did a DE in Metrica, defending some lab from Inquest. there were about 25-30 of us. the Inquest spawns were melted before they even made it to the ramps of the lab.

im very disappointed by the difficulty of most DE’s so far (lvl 30). while i did no buy this game for the PVE, im finding myself more into the hearts and personal story (because DE’s are either bugged or trivial).

Yea you see almost nothing but botters attacking even when nothing is there .

Another example of an event that is poorly tuned and blocks other content.
There is not even one in a million chances that the centaurs repair the bridge since all that it takes is like 1 or 2 botters to prevent them..oh bots..thats a problem too :P

In general I think if these type of events are pushed to one side of the chain too far they should get progressively harder every time they are completed successfully. Not that it should ever be impossible to win, but it should take a coordinated effort involving a decently-sized group to defend it at some point.

This place is fill with auto shooting, auto looting botters, you can tell they are auto looting because the npc is there non stop reacting to the F key being pressed. Every time I go through the area I stop and report everyone auto-attacking at nothing for botting and let Anet sought out the cheats and farmers from the real players.

While the event needs to be reworked be sure to report those botters.
