Lady In White
hmmmmm, first of all I would like to know the location of this gaveyard cause it didnt ring as bell and there might be more to this lorewise (had the ghost a name for example).
Second of all in general, many fantasy genres have enraged spirits or ghosts. Often called things like wraths, demons, shades, lich, etc. Many times emotional reactions that last an eternity are the cause of this transformation.
It shows how eternity can drive a soul to madness.
It’s not often that you see the transition and reason for this madness, but think bout the fact that every undead you kill and every ghost you kill is for a reason. Good and evil and the balance between good and evil isn’t a sharp line.
I wouldn’t do Ascalonian catacombs storymode if I where you. You have to kill two ghosts that where lovers in real life and in afterlife.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!

If it is the event I think it is, it is the graveyard in Queensdale just to the east of the main gate to Divinity’s Reach -
There’s also an event where an npc calls for you to help. When you talk to them and follow, you’re lead into a bandit trap. I actually prefer such events as they shake things up.
Some events are also influenced by your speech check traits (Ferocity, Charisma, Dignity). It doesn’t happen often, but you do get to change how some events or story quests work that way.
I actually wished this happened more often, e.g. being able to talk or intimidate your way out of bandit ambushes.
Also… deleting your character? Seriously??? Even in the roleplay sense, every character that leads that kind of path is going to have something they regret, whether it be a mercy killing, stealing, etc. What they do is make up for it with other deeds.
If you want to roleplay-eliminate a reward like that, buy a Karma item and destroy it. Back during the Karka events you had the option of using items as donations with a Mystic Forge recipe which made for nice roleplay redemption.

What can I say I’m a sensitive person, I’m going through a rough patch and sometimes I can relate to certain characters. When certain issues come up in rpg games they can hurt quite a bit.
At any rate I don’t want to drag this thread out but it would have been nice if it could have had a peaceful resolution. I remember reading in an interview that in gw2 the developers didn’t want players to be villains. The general feel you get from gw2 is that we are heroes and it’s our job to make the world a better place, it’s just a shame it ended that way.
