Less killing = Less reward?
I got a silver or bronze once when I thought it was b/c I revived too many people and it took away from my damage output. I could think of no other reason, b/c I’ve done that event several times and always got gold.
Yeah there was one event I kept getting bronze and silver. I went back when I got my flamethrower and got gold 3 times in a row. I stayed there to test my theory
I agree, on a couple of events I went pure support on my engineer and took out the Elixir Gun, and other elixirs. On smaller, easy events, I could do enough damage to get gold, but on harder events even though I was buffing and healing as many as I could, I could only squeak in enough damage to get a bronze, or if I was lucky a silver.
Healing and buffing should both add to contribution levels in events.
I definitely second this. Support roles in big dragon fights tend to get shafted a lot because they are dealing with mobs, walls, etc, and not doing direct damage to the dragon itself. I had a friend who didn’t get a medal even though he showed up halfway through the claw of Jormag fight because he was focused on keeping the golems up and resurrecting people.
