SO you think dynamic events are a bit too easy? Well, i tell you what. Get to Orr, and do endgame ones. Specially Temple of Balthzar in the straights. My god that is hard. Orr seems to be the hardest zone for PvE and a lot less casual.
Also, does anybody have any tips of beating Temple of Balthzar.

Well the problem with your suggestion is that gw2 is supposed to be “endgame all the way through”. While the final zones should be the most challenging, this should not make the difficulty of all other De’s trivial, which it is currently.

It is really interesting how some try to take away the attention of 95 percent of all events, by naming a few single events that are probably not easy (with a lot of players)…
Certainly there have to be a fair amount of events that are beatable by everyone no matter how much or few players are contributing, but all the topics here complaining about events do have valid points!

It’s sad that there are only a few DE’s that give us a challenge, it reminds me of WoW, how there are a few maybe 1 dungeon that’s hard and a few raids that are hard but the rest of the game is just easy beyond belief. I want to be challenged, and so far all this game has shown me is that with enough people just spamming their aoe button you’ll get gold for any event.

Well its kind obvious why not all events are challanging. They are clearly trying to appeal to a casual audience while giving them a challange at the end, especially for the hardcore players. I mean, this is a company. Wether we like it or not, they are going to try to get the most profits. The way the game is setup is to be appealing to casual players. No sub, no quest/reading (just follow markers that randomly pop up), the ability to ignore every person in the game and solo everything, etc. I mean look at shatterer. It doesn’t get much more casual than that. Same with a lot of the first zone bosses. Imagine if they made the first zone bosses really hard, a lot of people would get frustrated, especially if they’re casual.
I really don’t blame them for it, even more so when i see people complain Orr is too hard.

I thought the general consensus for Orr was that is was either way too easy, which is why everyone now just farms all of their events, or that a fair portion of said events are just flat bugged?

The first area of Orr is the farming area (which they’ll probably fix). Once they fix it, people are going to solo more and its going to be a lot harder. Theres two more areas besides the one farming area, a 75-80 and a 80. Soloing this area can be very difficult. Mobs are close and they respawn fast. Some events are bugged, as with most 50+ areas, but they’ll fix them in time.

Orr has far too events to call it endgame. I can walk through the entire zone and encounter only 1-2 events, with usually no one participating in them.
Even when they do have enough people, they aren’t hard.
