The Megadestroyer event seems to have gone quiet. Yesterday, it took me around 30 mins just to find enough people to do the pre-event. And I still only got 3 people to help me. I had to ping Lions Arch for help when it came to the battle. But I think the real problem is the chest. After we destroyed the Destroyer, about 3/4 of us got uncommons and one masterwork from the chest!!! I think I found the reason why no-one does this event anymore. Anyone else having this problem also?

The answer is easy – Megadestroyers chest didn’t get an update as the other boss chests got. If you want to find people killing something in that zone your best bet is the Inquest Golem Mark II event which got the chest update.

^^as said above me. the chest is crap and not worth the time and effort. and it took people way to long to notice that fact.

Which is a real shame, as this is one of the most fun boss events in the game.

Looks like this events chest finally got upgraded (lots more loot). Although it did not reward the guaranteed rare chest.

Nope… No rare from Megadestroyer… Inquest Golem is working fine.

The event sequence is WAY to long to be worth the time. The pre-events can easily take 30 min to do.

This is a great & tough event that deserves some good loot to reward those who come to play. Please up the rewards to a level similar to the high level dragons.

This is an event that does need to be buffed to be on par with the dragon champion events. For most of the Elder Dragons (that have been active in Tyria/we know about), we have a champion of their’s to fight:
Zhaitan -We fight Tequatl the Sunless (and other of his champions in personal story, like at Claw island).
Kralkatorrik – We fight The Shatterer.
Jormag – We fight the Claw of Jormag.

Now of the known Elder dragons minions we fight against, this leaves Primordus. As his minions are the destroyers from underground, he has no dragon-like champions. The closest we come to fighting one of his champions, is the Megadestroyer. So this Elder dragon champion should thus be treated as one, and have its rewards changed to reflect this.
