Anyone know of a server with Melandru open?

Melandru should be available on multiple servers relatively frequently since it is the easiest of all the temples.

I’d say Lyssa is easier, but Mel offers some easy champs and fantastic farms that arn’t there for Lyssa. Regardless, it’s easy to find open, and if you can wrangle 10 players or so, you can open it for yourself — though you might need to try a time or two if you’ve never done the temple before.

I guess it also depends on which version of the melandru temple event. There is the real one which you can get turned into the drake/wolves and you have to kill the acolytes and then there is the bugged one that is encountered a majority of the time.

I guess I should also say “event chain” instead. Both Lyssa and Melandru suffers from bad scaling.

I don’t think it’s bugged (at least not how you are probably thinking). It might use adjusting, but I’m pretty sure the priest currently turns everyone to animals at fixed intervals. Kill him before the first interval comes due, and nobody has to learn what skills 3 and 4 do to recommend themselves.

The majority of the times I do that event is with a small(2-5) group of people. We generally don’t take it down very quickly. I also know it is not a scaling thing because there was a time where it did the transform even though it was just me and another person.

According to another person the transform only happens the first time after server reset. It might seem unlikely except there is another event with a similar issue in the Gate of Arah chain.

I just did Melandru tonight and there were only about three of us keeping him going for 5 minutes until the zerg arrived. No animal transformation.
