About one in three times when I kill a dragon no chest will spawn.

Let me explain how it goes.

I check my dragon timer and teleport to a zone for 4-5 silver, possibly grabbing repairs for 10-12 silver. I run up and wait for the dragon.

About 45 minutes to 50 minutes later it appears. We kill it. I generally experience severe rendering problems. I don’t lose sight of the dragon, but my fellow players have the ‘invisible zerg’ effect. Every step I take causes more of them to vanish and more new ones to appear. Nonetheless, I damage the dragon. If not, I get on a siege weapon(Like turrets in shatterer) and fire at the dragon’s adds.

Okay, so we kill it. I run through the invis-visible-teleporting crowd to the chest.

Well, where the chest should be. I see six people link their sexy drops and I figure, “Oh. It must be taking a second to load.”

So I wait two minutes. And another two minutes. The chest never appears. Ever.

I go completely unrewarded from this dragon-slaying event while someone else walks away with a precursor.

I know this happens to other people. I had a Claw of Jormag on sunday that had roughly six others miss the chest and a Shatterer just yesterday where no chest spawned for three of us. On those Dragon-slaying runs I am rewarded for, I rarely get more than a pile of worthless blues.

Does this happen to you? If so, how often?

Never happend to me. Really. I do Jormag every day and have never seen 6 people linked good stuff they got. On other hand i do see zerg of dissatisfied players getting blues.
If you think you missed precursor cause chest didnt spawned for you, then i want some of that stuff you are smoking!
Just contact customer service and report problem.

No need to embellish things to make people feel sorry for you. Let’s admit it, you’d get blues/greens.

I have never heard of this happening, nor have I heard other people complaining about it.

and I go to dragon events quite often o.O

Happened to me few times while fighting Shatterer (and only him). Gold medal and no chest. But never seen this issue since like 2 months.

I only saw one guy at jormag getting pre-cursor from jormag chest in 3 months!

I’m pretty sure you dont get much in the way of an award, even if you DO get the chest lol.

Once at Jormag I stood around AFK and ignored all the first events, and only on the last one where he is standing where the chest spawns I grabbed a bazooka and fired at him the whole time. This time I got no chest. Maybe you could going in and and attack the dragon instead of use the siege weapons on adds.

Happened to me few times while fighting Shatterer (and only him). Gold medal and no chest. But never seen this issue since like 2 months.

The issue you describe is identical to mine. It didn’t happen to me for the first few months of playing, hence why I am talking about it now and didn’t mention it earlier.

I always make a point to do that. The support on the adds is auxillary, I only do that shortly after I’ve done around 30k to him with my longbow.

Pile of Worthless Blues tends to cover for the teleportation expenses, at least. If I get nothing for killing the dragon, I’ve wasted some of my pocket change. I’ve got a lot of pocket change so it isn’t this that matters to me. It’s that if my investment had paid off, the game had worked and I had gotten a chest, there would be a tiny chance— And a tiny chance is better than none at all— That I could become filthy rich. Why do you think I kill them in the first place?

I always make a point to do that. The support on the adds is auxillary, I only do that shortly after I’ve done around 30k to him with my longbow.

30k dmg is nothing. I can do it in 10sec when he’s stunned. I strongly believe that dmg made to his minions and crystals counts. So you can make hundrets of thousands dmg during the fight. 30k is probably not enough.

It happens occasionally, same with the temple chests. But not at the frequency of the Karka chest (which was pretty much an exotic fest which was why everyone QQ’d).
