Players prefer events with a lot of mobs because they are easier, faster and they get more drops.
Events about killing one champion are often avoided because they are longer, more dangerous, and most of the time unrewarding.

The recent patch changed the Orrian champions to make them more powerful.

I’m soloing events and champions. This is my way of enjoying the game.
For instance I recently soloed the DE champion Abomination of Cursed Shore (end of Plinx chain events)
I’m saying this so it is clear that my opinion is not based on L2P frustration.
It’s based on “they shoot themselves in the foot again” frustration.

Before the patch there was a few one champion events that I was doing on a regular basis and that I will no longer do.
These events were often up before the patch because players were doing them rarely.
Now they will just stay up indefinitely with nobody doing them.

It seems to me that you just wanted to make the standard champions types more challenging for the mass events of Orr.
On this forum players are already complaining that they are unbalanced, too powerful.
They are talking about mass events that are done often, with a lot of players.
I’m talking about events that are rarely done and by very few players.

I noticed that you didn’t change the one champions events with unique models.
I’m still killing Captain Rottbeard or Mark II YF-Gold golem without problem.
However the one champion events with standard models were all changed.

So here is my suggestion: Change the Orrian one champion events to make them unique.
They should provide a balanced challenge to players like me, or more importantly to small groups of friends that are farming Orrian maps together.

And maybe it’s time to increase the rewards of these events.
All unique champions of these events should drop a chest with 3-5 items, blues and greens and a chance of better.

There is no point in having events in Orr that nobody does.
They are deserted.
And when you move to the most farmed events and see the crowd there the difference is stunning.

the rewards need to be fixed. It was fun to fight the champ at end of plinx when I first got to Orr, but I no longer do them. Why battle for 5 minutes just to get a single blue. Same for a lot of champ events like the Ooze…it just sits there and no one touches it. What a waste. The rewards need to be balanced…for example, in a defend the camp event that lasts 5 minutes, I can expect to get a certain amount of loot….and it’s easy. The 5 minute champ fight should give me at least that amount of rewards, if not more.
