So a while back we had some changes made to address overflow issues. After enough time to draw a conclusion from the effects of said changes, I am confident in saying that “overflows are still very much an issue”.

Are there any other attempts to address them seeing that the one we have is not working?

You could really be more specific on what the issue is. I have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about – lag? Culling?

Or are you talking about the fact that we have overflows? Overflows are a ‘quality’ feature.

What’s worse – having 100 people in a zone with no lag but 100 people left out

or

having 200 people in a zone and they can’t even get a tag on the boss cause it’s lagging

I think the former.

Overflows are just a tell tale of multiple issues….ie encompassing identifiers. They elude to issues such as disconnects, skill lag, movement lag, culling, separation of parties and more.

The “fix” put in place of limiting rewards honestly was not a fix at all. This is clearly obvious.

I was wondering if they are working on an actual fix…ie working on improving server performance, coding, etc…, things that might actually fix the problem.

No they did add bandwidth and servers I believe. The cap for # of people in a zone is higher than it was before.
