I’ve done it twice now, collected every crystal I can find in room but it still progress as it if not enough were collected. I collected enough to fill the entire bar and then some.

I’ve never managed to collect enough crystals for that event either, despite harvesting all but one of the crystals (had to rush back to defend Parnna from the golems).

I was curious about this as well. The first time I did it, I didn’t really know what to do so I missed a few crystals. Next time, I was with another player and they defended her on her walkabout while I collected every crystal I could find.. but still nothing.

I suspect this event has a minor bug where, even if you give her enough crystals to completely fill her bar, Parnna will always fail to disarm the security mechanism and thus trigger the 3 Veteran Golems to attack.

Sorry to reboot this topic, but I am wondering if anyone has done this successfully. I stumbled upon it last night as a level 80 Guardian and was easily able to collect a lot of crystals during the event (filled the bar) but the three attack golems still got triggered.

In addition, after I killed the golems the event chain did not continue. The NPC disappeared and the room was suddenly filled with obsidian destroyer trolls. They ate my Guardian alive with no trouble at all through my Exotic gear. I mean, I was dead in less than 3 seconds.

I think this event chain is very broken at the moment.

There is a chest in that cave too if u can defend her long enough. It’s off to the side past a platform in a small cave. I think that chest is the only purpose of it, as my GF & I have done it multiple times, filling up the crystal bar well past the limit & it still trips the alarms. But after u kill the vets, run to the chest ASAP & then run out before u get flopped on by destroyer trolls lol

That chest is always there regardless of whether you defend her or not. (It’s just a minor chest that tends to reward blue-quality loot.) I will usually run on ahead to open the chest first, then run back and defend Parna.
