Do we know what triggers this? I remember back at launch this was up every 15-20 minutes. I’ve spent a great deal of time in this little area for the past 90 minutes or so. I know we have to do the event to destroy the flame braziers, but what triggers this?

I’ve tried killing the skale, braziers, flame legion, talking to NPCs… what causes this to kick off?

Hmmm. I always thought it was the tar event.

From memory, it proceeds as follows:

1. Flame Legion tries to pollute the lake with tar (if success go to 3, if failure go to 2)

2. Cleanse the lake of the tar elementals (go to 3)

3. Iron Legion warband heads to the caves to destroy the Braziers (go to 4)

4. Kill the Flame Legion shaman (end of event chain)

If the event chain is not starting, it may be that the internal timer + triggering conditions have not been met, but it could also be that something in the event chain broke and it can’t start.
