I was doing some events in the level 80 zone (Cursed Shore) and as usual for the balthazar event; there are too many dead people at the ending boss.

I rez the most of the time.
It ended with a silver rewards …

If I well understand the game, it is better to only fire at the boss and let dead people lying on the ground and laugh at them?! In that case I’ll probably got the gold medal reward …

Don’t you think there is a problem here?

If as a Guardian (or whatherver) I play a support build then I have the silver reward too.

What am I missing in the game events’ logic?

You are right. I am not using my cleric’s set anymore and not raising in the middle of ANY event if there is still a mob to hit.

Support role is still not encouraged in this system and as far as I know ANET has still no answers on similar topics.

I’m not sure why rezzing people also participated doesn’t seem to count toward the event reward, but it is annoying, yes.

That said, I still do it. The coin rewards are a complete joke anyhow even at gold level so unless you’re looking for the XP to gather skill points, realistically you’re only losing a little karma while spreading good will among your fellow players.

At least I’m not the only one that feels that way …

I changed my build for damage dealer and it’s far better. Thanks ANET.
