Does anyone know how to get the boss achievement for The
Shatterer? Everytime I try to get the achievement it never updates. Is it even working?

It’s working i got it yesterday. Don’t know exactly what are the requirements for it ;-)

When fighting Shatterer when you see people become Crystallized you need to break them out to get progress for said achievement. It mostly happens when people get close to his feet and the lightning gets more intense. (From what i’ve noticed)

I know how to do the achievement, I’m saying no matter how many crystals I break the achievement never updates…

Well now that it’s more clear i’d say you didn’t do enough damage to the crystal to get credit for it.

I think I got it a while ago; unless they changed it, you need to kill (5? I think) crystals in one instance of the event.

Don’t confuse the crystals that spawn when he’s at 50% health (or something like that). Those are not the crystals you are looking for.

In my experience, and especially now, the crystals are only up for mere seconds due to the sheer number of players in the area, so there is a bit of luck involved in tagging them.

Anet, change this as there is almost no way to get credit for breaking the crystals. About as much chance as getting a precursor from the chest.

Recently did it. However, I was on at non-prime time hours.

I got like 2 out of 5 and didn’t even notice that I destroyed them.
