I was wondering do low level Events, which spawn a splendid chest have a chance to drop rares and exotics? I have never even gotten a rare out of them.

I know that in chests from the Wurm or Maw or other low level chests rares can be dropped, but they are “better” than splendid chests. So could someone answer that question?

Yes. I’ve pulled a few rares from the Maw chest on my 80s.

Confirmed. I pull a rare (level 76-80) from the Maw chest about 50% of the time.

I’ve gotten several exotics from frozen maw. This has already been discussed and proven in those final rest threads.
