Guild Wars 2

So in order to reach the steam ogre in thaumanova reactor we need to find the matrix key wich is laying somewhere in the reactor, the thing is after few days and several hour i cant find it.
The event isnt bugged cause apperntly someone finds it all the time , so i guess im not looking in te right places.

If any of you found the key before can you post your feedback here and maybe a pic so we can have a better idea what it looks like.

I don’t have a picture, but it’s really small (so small it looks like a dot) with a small green glow around it. Not nearly as big as the green glowing globs of waste (can’t remember what they are actually called) that are easy to find all over the reactor, that toss your character when you touch them.

The matrix key is honestly small enough that you could have run past it several times… it doesn’t look like something you could interact with, but more like something that is naturally part of the environment.

*Edit: One more thing to mention. Say you and your friend both found a matrix key. You both charge them, and you use yours to open the barrier. Both you and your friend jump in…. Note that your friend’s key just got destroyed ;-) The keys are destroyed if you enter the instance while you have a key in your inventory. (probably to stop people from hoarding keys.)

I have personally seen the Matrix Cube Key spawn twice, at the following locations:

1. Hidden inside the bushes in the Poison chamber. It’s completely invisible this way so the only way you know if it’s there is by running up to each bush and seeing if an “Interact/Pick Up” option appears.

2. On the platform with the Veteran Ice Elemental, halfway up the jumping puzzle to the Ice charger. This one can be annoying to get to, however, as you can’t tell if the key’s spawned in this location without going up there yourself.

It is very small, like a little stone surrounded by green smoke. It does not have a name either, so it can’t be found by holding ctrl. I found it and not long after, my friend in my party found another one. Quess we were just that lucky.
I wound mine in the water with the Ooze and he found it in that nature room.
