I did a rough search of this in the forums and I know it’s a hard point for a lot of players, but I did not find a particular bit of info I was looking for.
Do we know why Anet does not give us credit (loot/xp/etc) for using support and CC skills in DEs? Is it because they want everyone to act offensively and not just try to use support builds for events, or is this just a hideously glaring oversight?
Yes, I am also trying to give this issue more exposure because DEs are a key feature to the game that need proper balancing soon.
Maybe it’s just far easier to give people credit via damage than taking other skills and abilities into account?
