Where are Dragons? If you do fusion locations maps, you do have more players. Also you do can do world events.

Dungeon Finder? Do you know Arenet, your player can do dungeon?

WvsW? The correct name is Zerg Vs Zerg! Every week same server? Interpolete 1 week top server, 1 week random server.

getting more people to dragons what would that mean hum gessing the skill lag for wvw in tier 1 is a drop in the ocean compared to it then(given that no overflow is mad at some player cap)

im a player and if you see me step into a dungeon then you see something very rare.
tho a dungeon finder bethere then the one allready there would not do much harm tho no porting into the dungoen when the groupe is made atleast let the groupe get to the zone.

and your saying that nothing can be done with 4 people in wvw or small tactical used groupes? gess what thats wrong just because you or your server cant find the use for it does not mean its not used.

There are two types of games.
a: a game like e.g. Skyrim. It’s an offline game that is foun for bout 100 hours of gameplay but then you have seen it all and you move along until an expansion comes out. Nobody complains bout this cause you also only pay to buy the game.

b: a game like e.g. WoW. They do everything in their power to keep you addicted and interested in this game. The simple reason is they want your monthly 10 dollars

GW2 tries to find the middle between them. They are doing their best to keep the game interesting between expansions, without asking monthly fees. They do this not for gaining profit, but for the love of the game and the community.

The game is definitly not dead or anywhere going there. But you are right that people are temporary moving on. Although thats changing as well I have seen people leaving for the new tombraiders game. They finished that and are coming back now.

wait for the next expansion and you will see it grow active again. Or do what others are doing move along for a bit. Do never expect this to be a WoW clone. Anet was founded by people who worked for blizzard and disagreed with how they approached the worl of mmo-gamers

Yes, the player base is actually growing. The reason you see fewer people is because the initial level rush is over and now players gravitate towards where they want to be. You don’t have to take my word for it either. Just do a dragon champion event on any server and you’ll see how many people are still playing. And those are just the ones interested in pve.

there are server rankings, so no. not the same servers every week.
there is limited pool of points in each tier. therefor if some server is winning in its tier – gets more points then server who is currently losing in higher tier. and in time winning server will have more total points then the losing one and will swap tiers with each other.

if server matching was random, then some mactches would be completely one-sided. strong servers would get points based on ‘luck’ getting weak servers.

First, it hasn’t been a year yet. And do you think WoW was bug-free eight months into its life? Rofl!

Second, I can agree. Dungeon finder is necessary, but gw2lfg.com works for now. As well as standing in dungeon maps/Lion’s Arch and, you know, asking. Wouldn’t that work wonders!

Third, sure, let’s randomize server. Take the bottom of T8 and randomize them against the first server in T1. That’ll be fun for everyone, I’m sure!
