Thoughts on Underflow Tech
think about the logistics involved in this…
When do you decide that a zone becomes an underflow?
How do you get currently playing people into that underflow?
What happens when the underflow reaches its limit and normal maps re-appear, will the Xth player suddenly appear on his server’s EMPTY map? (he’ll be the first one) and then everyone else in the underflow from that server gets a message like the overflow message?
Much more complex than you think…
Actually, it’s not that hard. I could whip out a function right now that would handle it. Overflow tech is already installed so the major work is done. Now, having answered the easy. My questions weren’t about not having the logistics.
