Timed Battles
teq is broken. All other bosses can be done in the time limit. There are better things to complain about.

I see your point and agree that the other bosses are currently doable with the time limits, however they have not been completely revamped like Tequatl. Furthermore, I feel you may have misunderstood my point. If an event is designed to be a contest where the combatants can be reasonably expected to agree with each other about the ‘rules’ of what determines victory or failure (i.e. keg brawl, crab toss, sanctum sprint), then having time limits makes sense. Otherwise, ‘real world’ scenarios should be determined by objectives being completed or failed and not by speed of victory or defeat. In other words, the boss battles should not be treated as ‘sports’ or a games where the opposing teams agree upon the rules of the game and to a fixed time limit. Any events in the open world that cannot be realistically considered a ‘contest’ should have different rules for victory/failure other than how quickly they are completed in order for them to be ‘believable’. To give you an example, if I were to break into your house and attack you, and you fought back…do you really think that after 15 minutes even if you were holding your own in the fight that you would just give up and allow yourself to be defeated? No, you would fight to the death if possible because that is a real fight, such that the Teq battle is supposed to emulate. Now in a separate scenario, you and I agree to have a boxing match where we agree ahead of time that after 15 minutes the person winning the fight is declared the winner. That’s the difference between a realistic battle and an organized contest. This is my point: The boss battles should not be treated as contests; instead they need to retain at least some reasonable amount of ‘realism’. i.e. It’s more believable that Teq is attacking Sparkfly to kill players and destroy the megalaser and batteries, not to see how fast players can kill him. Simply remove the time limits and based victory or defeat on achieving objectives…either Teq is killed or Teq destroys the megalaser and batteries thus ending the players’ chance to kill him. That is a believable scenario and that is why this is not a trivial complaint.

This. If ANet wants to give the big bads a failure condition, they need to make sense in world. Particularly if the big bad is what instigates the attack/appearance rather than us provoking it.
If ANet wants them to only stay for a limited time, there needs to be something they are after. Something they want to destroy or steal.

Claw of Jormag is now a big problem if you play late at night. Also i think there are simply now less player around because they think : why should i even bother with it.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
