So, I’m on 98% Area completion for the Cursed Shore area, and I’m unable to complete it.
For the past 2 and a half day, the temple of Melandru has been contested, and there doesn’t seem to be any players or events for removing Zhaitans’ corruption.

I only have 1 skillpoint left to cap, however it’s directly underneath a hostile temple of Melandru.

Is there any way for me to complete this?

you can try the site http://www.gw2state.com/temples.html, it has a list of all temples on each server and wich one is curretnly open, just guest to the server that has it open.

That’s the easiest route, if you don’t feel like embarking on an epic journey and try to rally some people from your realm to liberate the temple!

Melandru is one of the easier ones, can be done with 4-5 people.

You can get the SP at Melandru without taking the temple. Obviously it’s easier if you have any kind of stealth, but if you’re patient you can sneak up to it and channel without fighting any of the enemies. Just go very slow and very carefully make sure you’re not drawing any aggro (and if you are, be prepared to sprint away or fight, whatever suits you).

They effectively only last 3 (or 10 while holding still) seconds… But if you can use both in just the right order at exactly the right time, it’s possible to get every Commune in the game (even those ones in Malchor’s guarded by Champions)

Or if you can’t even do that much, try Hiring a Mesmer or Thief in LA to grant you Stealth while they take the aggro :p
