I have not once looked at that site and seen grenth completely finished. :/

The gw2stuff site doesn’t read Grenth correctly all of the time. I’ve been to an open Grenth temple that wasn’t listed on the site as open. It was listed as Inactive.

This is so frustrating; attempted a few times, most with 2 more ppl – without success. Nobody wants to come to this event. I don’t know why anet put merchants in events nobody bothers to do. Entire Orr is empty, only a few doing map completion.

Grenth currently open on Jade Quarry, Blackgate, and Crystal Desert. Website is 100% reliable, hopped between Tarnished Coast, Dragonbrand, and Henge of Denravi (home server) for all karma gear, all thanks to gw2bear.

HEADS UP FOR PEOPLE DOING GRENTH.

Either the Priest’s HP’s were increased to scale a lot higher…. or there’s just a ton more Shades spawning now. …ether way, I think this is going to have to be re-strategized a bit with basically Rangers & Guardians or other classes that have good Evading & Immunity without using Stealth (Thieves should stay on Grenth’s side). Rangers especially who contribute almost nothing to killing the Priest anyway, should bring increased HP while downed Foods. Berserk Nukers could also be helping them cull the Shade spawns by hiding up in those little Alcoves a couple of the Tombs are in (the Shades don’t seem to be able to Path to you in those little nooks).

…..As a Ranger, I have solo’d that part of the Grenth event several times before (because of the wacky scaling that takes place), and normally in groups I am the last one standing towards the end of the event and I am left reviving everyone who just died before the next event comes and the champion spider and millions of enemies spawn. I am normally left reviving everyone else, including those Uber 1337 other Classes that contribute even less damage to killing the priest than my bird pets do. Just because some Rangers aren’t skilled and just stand there with a Bear and a longbow does not mean that all of us are.

right, but your little self congratulatory rant doesn’t change the reality that the vast majority of them are still assuming the wrong role in this fight. Were you aware that additional pets in aggro range also cause additional AOE’ing from the Priest? (and most Dungeon bosses too like Lupi/Alpha/etc…)
