Balthazar’s Temple is open on Gunnar’s Hold [EU].
Just completed the event.

Open on Borlis Pass [NA]

Hey guys, I just launched GW2State which has event maps, boss notification, and most importantly for this thread a single-page status of all the temples on all the servers (updated every 10s). If it doesn’t work, try 5.135.157.160 as the DNS is still propagating.

I’m using a bunch of extra codes as opposed to simply checking for the defense event warmup (e.g. checking if any of the pre-events are active, both defense events for Balthazar/Arah, etc.) so hopefully it will be very accurate.

I’d be very grateful if anyone could PM me if the data is ever incorrect for any location so I can check it out. And if you like it, feel free to tell your friends!

Currently it shows Balthazar open in:
- Abaddon’s Mouth [DE] (EU)
- Aurora Glade (EU)
- Blacktide (EU)
- Gunnar’s Hold (EU)
- Dragonbrand (US)

It also shows Seafarer’s Rest/Borlis Pass/Crystal Desert defending the temple and Ehmry Bay attacking it (late pre-event). Good luck guys!

Any other NA (US) servers have the temple open?

The table says Henge of Denravi/Jade Quarry/Northern Shiverpeaks/Sanctum of Rall in US and Desolation in EU.

EDIT: Desolation is definitely NOT open, the event state seems bugged, it’s in warmup and the 3 preceding pre-event are all ‘success’. I wonder what caused that – a server reset while the temple was uncontested maybe?

Not sure what I can do to prevent this – I know for certain that some events can stay bugged in ‘active’ mode, so if I checked for every single pre-event in the preceding chains, I’m fairly likely to do the opposite mistake (say it’s closed when it’s open). Hmm…

Is Temple of Balth open on any (NA) Server atm?

I’m pretty sure Northern Shiverpeaks (my server) didn’t have Balthazar uncontested all day. I’ve been trying to guest everywhere else. Lazy Sunday.

seems like balthazar is contested everywhere!
and ppl keep failing on to open it aswell npc wipe nuked
