Orr temple events, “fun” mechanic with sudden explosions. In attached image – one of examples, Lyssa event, damage on necro in full dire (condi-vit-toughness) set.
May be it will be better if those attacks will be changed to something more visible and predictable?

I’m guessing that would have been a (illusionary) champion risen plaguebringer and yes it should have a combat log detail. They are a pretty stupid mob to scale into veterans and champs anyway, and a pretty stupid mob to spawn in the middle of an event with virtually the same appearance as the other mobs.

I think you meant Plague Carrier, not Plaguebringer, which is a “regular” Risen mob. And what, you can’t pick out the green miasma around the Plague Carriers amid all the other particle spam?

I concur that scaled Plague Carriers are neither fun or interesting, and I also question the wisdom of these mobs scaling.

There is often a safety in numbers. A particular event may clobber 5 players, leaving them no hope of victory. The same event may offer zero challenge to a Zerg of 50.

The former is futile, the latter is boring, and i enjoy neither. The plague carrier makes for a level of interesting, but I would agree, in a large Zerg fight, its not going to be spotted amongst the particle effects, and most likely die from the AoE before doing anything anyway, making it weak attraction content for me.

Now, risen necros, mesmers, and eles that have vividly rendered AoE skills that are not capped at striking only 5 players. That could be interesting — watching a Zerg dodge?

Risen P.C.’s will not scale up v. a group of 5.

Yeah. 5 still ain’t going to open arah. Oh, they can get to the high wizard easy enough, but after that lack of scaling stops mattering.
Vs a zerg of 50 the guy’s a pushover.
