Topic says it all . . . I received the award from the event without a problem, but then I got the mail giving me another one.

So did everyone. Enjoy your freebie like me (I didn’t even log in till the event was over).

no so didn’t everyone. i didn’t get a chest. neither did alot of people.

They said it will take some time for the script to run through everyone. Be patient.

So is it still going then even now?

Approx. 90 minutes ago I got the following answer to my ticket (that was opened on the 19th of November):

At this time, we have finished delivering the rewards for the Lost Shores event to all accounts that qualified. If you have not received the reward, please make sure that your in-game mail is not full. If you are able to receive mail but have still not received the reward, it is because our records indicate that you did not meet the requirements to receive these items.

However, I have not received an in-game mail (I have cleaned out all but 3 mails and restarted the game, didn’t help) and I have the joy of reading posts here and on FB about people receiving the in-game mail despite opening the chest at the end of the event…

I have asked for information on how they determined who was eligible to receive the in-game mail.

In one of the answers to my ticket (and probably everyone else’s) they write “We have confirmed that we can provide everyone who did not have the opportunity to loot the chest with a reward for their participation.”
Well, apparently not.

I want to know what are the requirements to receive these items. I think I have the right to know the method they were using when deciding on the ‘winners’. Please enlighten us ANet!

Wow well some people that got the chest during the event have definitly gotten another in the mail, and some that dc’d have not gotten any, kinda funny. Myself, I got it during the event but not by mail which would be fine by me if some people that got multiple chests on multiple toons were not also getting it by mail still.

I also have a support ticket open and have asked the same question as apparently giving up so much of my weekend to play an event I thought would be fun isn’t enough to get a reward.
