Guild Wars 2

I have a question on doing world events. I just started playing this game about 3 weeks ago, and I had a lvl 15 elementalist. I was out running around when I saw this event for the Shadow Behemoth pop up. So I ran down to take a look. I thought wow.. I’m joining in. So off I went and started attacking. I was surprised when I got a gold medal and a big chest to open up. I was even more shocked when I found a rare in my chest. I thought great… When I hit 39 I will be wearing this! (the rare had an item level.)

So anyways.. now they do this patch, I have no 80’s, but I do have a 43 and everything else is 30 – 33. Now when I go down to do the Shadow Behemoth or even MAW.. All I get is the chest with no rares. I get no pop up chest that everyone is talking about. It has been 3 days now that I’ve tried this on just one character and still nothing. Just the big chest.

So what gives.. is there now a minimum level you have to be to get the pop up chest??

Yep lv 40 minimum for the bonus chest.
